Singer-songwriter Elvira Nikolaisen was born on 16 July, 1980 in Moi, Norway. Her debut single, "Love I Can't Defend", reached number 3 in her home country's singles charts at the end of 2006. Her first album, "Quiet Exit" was released in March 2006 and hit the number 2 slot in the album charts.

She has musical siblings - her brother Emil and sister Hilma are the vocalist/guitarist and bassist for the rock band Serena Maneesh, while her other brother, Ivar, is the lead singer of the punk band Silver.
