The core mission is clear: the protection of civilians. Now all resolutions are voted, it is time to deliver. The pace of deployment now depends on two factors: - The international community, through UN Member States, must promptly provide funds and resources for peacekeepers to effectively protect the population - The government of Sudan must keep to its word and not obstruct deployment on the ground Every day, the people of Darfur are paying the price of inaction with their lives. Let's raise our voices and demand immediate delivery on Darfur. Where is the real delivery note?A "delivery note" is a document that recipients sign to confirm that the goods or services they were expecting were delivered in the correct quantities and quality. The Make Some Noise blue "delivery note" is a reminder to the international community and its leaders that the people of Darfur are still awaiting protection from human rights abuses. Be an artivist for Darfur and spread the word in your school, town, community, in your blog or online profile. You can start by simply cutting the Make Some Noise blue "delivery note" template and pasting it in a visible space; if you feel more creative, you can adapt the template, through collage, drawing, painting, or even take the concept further to adapt it to other art forms such as animation or video.
