Add your voice to the international cry for justice

You're 15 years old.  You're arrested without cause.  You're hung by your wrists and beaten for up to 8 hours a day.  You're interrogated, tortured and burned. You can cry out but no one will hear. You can beg for a trial but no one will care.  Your name is Mohammed al-Gharani.  Welcome to Guantánamo Bay.

This is how Mohammed al-Gharani described his life in Guantánamo Bay. Like him, many other detainees have been allegedly tortured or otherwise ill-treated at the US-naval base in Cuba. Since 2002, some 750 "enemy combatants" from over 35 countries have been unlawfully held in Guantánamo. More than 400 of them remain detained. It’s a legal black hole in direct violation of international law.

So we're asking you to say/act/scream 'Close Guantánamo!' in a 5 to 10 second video clip (try to use close-ups and shoot your video at a recognizable landmark). The video clips will be compiled and edited to launch our "Close Guantánamo" campaign around the world that aims to make some noise all the way to the White House!
