Canadian hip-hop artist k-os (which stands for 'knowledge of self') has enjoyed great success at home, with three Juno Awards, four MuchMusic Video Awards, six Canadian Urban Music Awards, and platinum-level success with his CDs and DVDs. International recognition is also spreading, as proven by his recent Grammy nomination.

On "Exit" and "Joyful Rebellion", k-os gave his insight on the current and future state of hip-hop and many timely issues from politics to fame to humanity.
